WHEN IS THE BEST TIME FOR WEED CONTROL?

Effective weed control requires a comprehensive, seasonal approach rather than a one-time solution. Our most common seasonal package includes five applications (timing may vary based on weather).

April/May: Spring fertilizer and broadleaf/crabgrass pre-emergent control (19-0-7)
June/July: Summer broadleaf/crabgrass post-emergent control
July/August: Summer fertilizer and disease control (19-0-10)
August/September: Fall broadleaf/crabgrass post-emergent control
September/October: Fall fertilizer application (16-4-8)

White Grubs Control

South Minneapolis and Edina lawns have seen a significant increase in damage caused by white grubs. In addition to our seasonal programs, we offer both curative and preventative grub control applications. Once grubs are established, they must be treated properly to rid them from the lawn and then overseeding or sod installation is required to repair damaged areas.
